MEET TAMARA FUENTES

Tamara Fuentes is the current Entertainment Editor at Seventeen, where she covers TV, movies, books, celebrities and more. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in Journalism and Professional Writing and Women’s and Gender Studies. Before joining the team, Tamara worked with Hearst Digital Media as a Newsroom Fellow, writing for over 20+ brands including Seventeen, Men's Health, Harper’s Bazaar, and Good Housekeeping. She has written for Zooey Magazine as a teen online blogger, Highlight Magazine, a music magazine based in Chicago, PopWrapped Entertainment, and TV Guide Magazine as an Editorial Intern.

Her love for all things entertainment has made her pursue an interest in entertainment journalism where she writes about music, theater, movies, television shows, and celebrities. Some of her favorite shows and movies include Glee, The Good Place, Boy Meets World, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Younger, and any movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She can often be found listening to her favorite records on vinyl or catching up on her favorite celebrities.
